| Our box bodies are made from the finest solid hardwoods.
They are constructed from a single,solid block of wood, with no seams or
joints. We laminate beautiful burls or other highly figured woods to the
drawer faces or box
top lids, then sand, seal and finish with numerous coats of Deb's
unique blend of hand rubbed tung oil and polyurethane.
This finish provides the greatest depth to the eye
and will not crack as laquers do.
All our boxes are fully lined. This includes the drawers as well as
the box bodies themselves. Cherry, Mahogany and Purple Heart boxes
are lined with wine colored flocking, the Walnut boxes with brown
flocking.
Purple Heart is only available for our Pen or Treasure Boxes. |
