Working on weekends and at night to create new designs, they found the work so engrossing they began planning their escape from the 9 to 5 grind.

They began traveling to juried art exhibitions around the country, showing their work and sharing ideas with the people who bought their work.

Al and Deb's love of woodworking lead them from traditional careers into full time creative box making.

Deb's background was in Biology and Biochemistry, and Al was a production manager for a large manufacturer. They both shared a passion for fine woodworking, and the beauty of fine burlwoods.

Soon the demand for their boxes overwhelmed their small basement woodshop, and they began building a studio that would let them continue to develop their unique style of fine box making.

Al and Deb have always kept the needs of their clients in mind, and strive to produce beautiful, unique boxes that are affordable, and thus enjoyable by all.
